We want to thank our VA-BC® association and community for supporting one of the most productive weeks yet in our own ongoing DOGE investigations into fraud and abuse within the nonprofit sector of vascular access—specifically among organizations claiming to advocate for healthcare workers and patients in vascular access.
After reviewing publicly available documents, our organization has formed the firm belief—without a shadow of doubt—that the Vascular Access Certification Corporation (VACC) has misled the public, the vascular access community, and thousands of individuals who sat for VACC exams during the years 2015, 2016, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025.
Based on applicable state and federal nonprofit governance laws, our review of corporate records, financial filings, and operational history strongly indicates a pattern of fraud, as well as nonprofit negligence and abuse, which raise serious red flags concerning mismanagement and potential violations of nonprofit fiduciary duty.

Furthermore, since transparently informing the Vascular Access Certification Corporation of our ongoing investigation last year, we have observed what we are calling “Webmaster Fraud”—an orchestrated and accelerated effort to scrub and revise website content, alter public narratives via SEO manipulation, and obscure legal accountability through misleading digital updates.
